Chloe Health Update: Lactose Intolerant (Whole Milk to Soy Milk)

This is going to be a different type of update on Chloe than I normally do. The last developmental update I did was when she turned 1 year old, this is going to be a health update on Chloe.

When Chloe turned a year old we switch her over from Formula to Whole Milk and Chloe started having problems with the milk. She started having Diarrhea alot, Gassy, Diaper Rashes on and Off and Puffiness in her face and arms. First they thought she had a stomach virus but the symptoms weren't going away and they continued to happen. On Saturday a couple weeks ago Chloe started throwing up just her milk and her face got puffy.

On Monday April 14 we took Chloe to see her Doctor and they decided to switch her over to Soy Milk and do a food allergy test to check for food allergies and see how severe her milk allergy was..... The results came back and it said Chloe is Lactose Intolerant.

What Is Lactose Intolerant?

It means that the body can not digest lactose, a type of natural sugar found in milk and diary products.

Symptoms of Lactose Intolerance:

* Bloating
* Pains or Cramps
* Rumbling sounds in belly
* Gas
* Loose stools or Diarrhea
* Throwing up

Benefits of Soy Milk:

This is the milk we switched Chloe to. She is doing so much better now!

Free of Dairy, Gluten, Lactose, Cholesterol, Eggs, Casein, MSG and Worries! It has 50% more Calcium than Lactose Milk. It has 110 Calories, Only 6g of Sugar and 8g of Protein.

The Results of Soy Milk on Chloe?

She is doing so much better on the Soy Milk! She been having more solid stools, she been feeling less bloated and gassy, and she has not vomited since switching her over to this milk.

* I will do a update on Chloe when she turns 15 months which will be in June!*

Love,
CES <3
